Since my earliest childhood, cars have held a central place in my life. This passion was passed down by my father and grew within our family over the years. For us, a car is not just a means of transportation: it’s a way of life, a tribute to a bygone era, an ode to beautiful machines, timeless elegance, and the unique sensations they evoke.

The driving pleasure of a classic car, the scent of aged leather, the growl of a vintage engine... All these details made me realize that a youngtimer is much more than just a vehicle: it’s a time machine, a source of connection and memories. I know this vision is shared by many enthusiasts — and it’s exactly why Rohmer Youngtimers Selection (RYS) was born.

As I grew up, I discovered legendary models that fascinated me — not just for their design, but for their unique personality.
From the age of 14 or 15, I began digging deeper, learning about their history and what made them so iconic.
Today, that passion is stronger than ever and continues to evolve with every encounter and discovery.

To fuel this interest, I regularly attend classic car shows and historic races on legendary circuits like Dijon-Prenois and Le Castellet, and I seize every opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts.
My daily life is filled with specialized magazines (like Youngtimers Magazine), TV shows and replays (Direct Auto, Vintage Mecanic with François Allain), as well as my own experience as both an owner and a hunter of rare gems.

From Consultant to Entrepreneur: The RYS Journey

After a career as a recruitment consultant in Luxembourg, I decided to leave the corporate world to follow my passion and create RYS.
In my previous job, I conducted precise sourcing for clients seeking professional opportunities. Over time, I realized that this skill — selection, filtering, and tailored guidance — was perfectly suited to my true calling: classic cars.
